Let it Go Josie

The snow glows white on the mountain church walls tonight

Not a footprint Lots of footwear to be seen.

A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the Queen

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside chattering cousin beside

Couldn't keep it in shut her up:
Heaven knows I've tried

Don't let them in,
don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be The Olaf balloon that's just for me

Conceal, don't feel,
don't let them know
Well now they know

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back stop the bounce anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door
I don't care
what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me I'm leaping high on the bouncy slide anyway

It's funny how some distance
Makes everything Phoebe seem small
And the fears that once controlled me
Can't get to me at all

It's time to see what I can do
To test the limits and break through
No right, no wrong, no rules for me,
I'm free!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry

Here I stand sit
And here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on cake come out

My power flurries through the air into the ground  tummy rumbles like a silly bassett hound
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past getting to play with the cake toppers at last!

Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand
In the light of day sliding away

Let the storm party rage on

The cold cousin never bothered me anyway!

The Great Game Fair

Last year we adventured to the Game Fair rather by accident (we accidentally got free tickets) and this year we adventured back by design.

There are giant animals to meet who offered you balloons (and dog treats for Dilly and Beanz who accompanied us)

There were carriage rides to watch, with pretty prancing ponies....

...and clumping horses pulling heavy carts....

There were three tents filled with artisan foods...

...and of course the wealth removing "kids area"...

Bea waited very patiently for her chance on the trampoline...

...which was obviously worth the wait!

As were the rickety spinning things that just made Mummy want to vomit quietly in a corner.

Then it was off to the Viking Village....

...with honest to goodness Vikings to chat with...

(the rope cage is obviously for our safety)

Then back to the main arena for the Bird display.

Bea and the other kids sat in the arena while an owl swooped over their heads.  They had to put their hands up when they could hear it.

Of course they could all hear it...until they closed their eyes!

But the highlight this year (apart from Daddy's shopping) were the Knights.

Lady Thomas was Bea's favourite!

Their display included tilting at this guy...who when you hit his shield with the lance, swung around VERY quickly to try to knock you off your horse with his ball.

The jousting was spectacular.

Truly, it was a great Game Fair.
