Do you wanna build a snowman?

It was Beth's birthday today, in May and she wanted a "Frozen" party.  But, it's OK because her mum is Shirley and if ANYONE can put together a Frozen party in May, it's her.

So to begin with there was a giant inflatable assault course (which has nothing to do with the film but was great fun for the kids)

There were other, just for fun things too (one of which may have sparked a manufacturing obsession in our house)

There were also colouring in pages featuring Frozen characters.

Then

Beth happily told everyone that they collected the rocks from Hazlebank and had already washed them.

Glue on some mossy hair

Stick on some eyes

and

voila....

There was also Olaf fingerprint painting for Gina the kids.

Then there was magic.

Adam made sure all of the kids had a little box of powder.  They added a cup of water to it and by the amazing frosty powers of Elsa it turned into snow.

Then there were races to snowball the bad guys (or at least cover them with silly string)

Then there was just enough time to make some big snowmen before party food.

The party food was of course served on special plates...

The sandwiches were either cheese snowflakes or ham snowmen.

And the birthday cake was amazing.

As for the party bags.... well, there's one thing here I'm not sure I'll try!

You can of course watch the video here
