Evie was a little sceptical when she discovered that she was going to make a bath bomb all by herself.
Just like Ellie's bake off...the party started with all the guests rolling up their sleeves and washing their hands...
(despite appearances, Josie is rolling up her sleeves and NOT punching Bea in the eye)
Then everyone tapped their scoop of sodium bicarb and citric acid into their bowls and started rubbing them together....
Add a drop of raspberry fragrance...
...and a spot of raspberry colour...
...and keep mixing...
It really does't matter if your hands turn a bit pink!
Then it was time to fill the bath bomb mould.
There may have been a sprinkle or two of powder on the floor.... and it may have mostly been around Bea's feet....but who would ever know?
The bath bombs were ready to set!
Then it was time to call in the clean up crew....
While the girls had a run around....ably observed by Joshua.
Then it was time for the bath cupcake topping.
Thankfully, Ellie has "stirring" experience.
The girls watched on eagerly....
... as Ellie got ready to add the secret ingredient...
... and in it goes...
..what is it?...
...a secret, of course!
Then time for a snack before the decorating began.
The bath bombs popped out of their mould perfectly.
(almost perfectly, but a near disaster was easily averted!)
Then it was time to fill your piping bag and get ready to decorate.
(Ellie needed a little extra help...so her Dad tried....)
Then Ellie called in the reinforcements...
Ta dah!
Let the decoration commence...
Ta dah....
Then it was time to pop the bath bomb into a carrying case...
Carefully tie a bow...
And voila....the final product!
Then there was just enough time to sing "Happy Birthday" and for Ellie to blow out the candles on her "Floozie in the Jacuzzi" birthday cake.
