Kids Parties...they're not rocket science

...or maybe they are...

First things first..find your lab coat and put it on along with your safety goggles....

Then you will need to find an amenable mad scientist....
Oh there he is,

Hello Dr Dave...

Then you must write your name on your rocket and send them skywards....

One experiment you can do is to set a teabag alight and watch as it floats...

Then perhaps it is time for a little chromatography...

Or some science magic where you turn copper coins into silver coins...

... and then into gold!

(Don't worry Stephen, of course this experiment didn't require heat in the form of a blow torch!)

Then...more flames...who knew gas could be so flammable (the scientific term for flammable is set fireable)

See if you can spot this experiment in the movie here....  CLICK HERE

After that, more heat, but from the hairdryer to complete the air maze...

Initially, some of the scientists weren't too impressed with the idea of lighting magnesium strips...

...while some took the warning about not looking at the flame VERY seriously...

...others were more blasé  ...using the safety goggles as a fashion accessory...

* Obviously, Josie wasn't blasé

Then it was time to design a Science shirt....

While still being amazed by the golden pennies...

... and the double ended pens....

The final thing you need, is a Granny to bake the perfect science cake.
